Antihoot TV: Episode 9
The Wednesday Broadcast and a SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Hey Gang -
I have to make this quick because a lot is going on. Anyone else feeling an energy shift?
A big thing that’s happening, literally right now, is that my Folk Brother, Kirk Kelly, has put together our only recording, All Folked Up With Nowhere To Go, into a cool anniversary package and is releasing it now on Bandcamp! Originally released as a cassette tape back in the day, this new digital version contains a bonus track, Plato’s Song, an early defining Antifolk song.
If you don’t know The Folk Brothers, this is a great way to discover Antifolk’s original power duo! Kirk went on to sign with SST and release Go Man Go (produced by Brian Ritchie of Violent Femmes), and Lach became me!
Check it out here: The Folk Brothers on Bandcamp
Below is Episode 9 of the original Antihoot Cable TV Show from 1994. (I’m not posting them in chronological order). The low-fi glitches only add to the charm, and hey, ya got a fast-forward button, don’t ya?
Big love,
Lach
